2012 SYMPOSIUM HIGHLIGHTS
Healing Touch California’s 6th Annual Regional Symposium -- Expanding the Light of Consciousness to Prosperity -- took place on April 28-29, 2012 In Santa Barbara, CA. The event focused on bringing abundance into our lives and practices.
The pre-symposium event on April 28th featured a Nurturing Room organized by Ann Seckinger that offered free Healing Touch treatments to attendees. Later that day, Carol Kinney and Anne Day presided over a pinning ceremony honoring attendees who had recently been certified.
The symposium on April 29th began with a beautiful opening ceremony that included sound and scent clearing and a powerful meditation lead by Claramae Weber.
Our keynote speaker, Marilee Tolen, RN, HTCP/I, provided a two-part presentation Healing Touch: A Paradigm Shift to Prosperity, sharing a myriad of ideas to bring abundance into our lives and prosperity into our practices. The inspiring presentations were divided by our traditional lunchtime group sharing, where we broke into groups and discussed what prosperity and abundance meant to each of us.
Before lunch, newly elected president Roberta Davis-Lewis recognized the outgoing members of the Board—Anne Day, Claramae Weber and Candace MacNair—giving them each a beautiful engraved crystal paperweight in appreciation for their loving service.
An afternoon panel disscussion saw Roberta Davis-Lewis, Anne Day, Carol Kinney and Loree Oberle-Edwards joining Marilee for a lively discussion on Building Prosperity and Community in Your Practice.
