This Post-Symposium Workshop will be held on Monday April 26, 2010 from 9am - 1pm the day following the HT CA 4th Annual Regional Symposium in San Diego (www.HealingTouchCalifornia.com for more Symposium info). There will be 2 hours of lecture plus 2 hours of practical experience.
The book: Heart of Marketing, Love Your Customers and They Will Love You Back by Judith Sherven and Jim Sniechowski, will be sold during the Symposium by the on-site vendor Paradise Found Bookstore and Gifts.
Linda has developed this workshop knowing that: You take a course in Healing Touch, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry or Healing Touch for Animals and by the end of the first morning you are inspired, and by the end of the day, you know that you found the next step on your path in life. You begin your passionate life’s work based in your new-found healing knowledge. You have dreams of establishing a practice and being of service to others. You just know you have found the work of your heart. You set up a healing practice and then you wait… and then you wait.
Disappointment may set in-why is it that no one comes? What have I done “wrong” or what haven’t I done right to show people what I have to offer in the way of healing?
This four hour post-Symposium workshop will help you identify how “hard-sell” marketing techniques simply don’t work in healing practices but “soft-sell” does. Being in a healing practice is a spiritual process. It is tapping into the love that you are and allowing it to be your magnetic attraction. We begin by identifying your “core” business, core competencies and who your audience is, then examine your marketing identity and how soft sell marketing fits a heart-centered healing approach. Next, we will look at selling and how selling is “spiritual service.” A healing practice needs to be run as a soul-based business which is fundamental to achieving the level of success and satisfaction that you are after.
What is your life’s mission? What is the spiritual significance of money? What holds you back from being a financial success? This workshop will help you craft your message and draw abundance into the equation.
You will be inspired with new energy for your healing practice.
Here are the objectives for the skill practice portion of the post-conference:
- Craft your message in your business cards, brochures, web sites, etc.-anything you want to put into print;
- Identify your beliefs about marketing and what is working and not working for you;
- Identify your core business and core competencies;
- Describe your audience and your particular niche;
- Establish your marketing identity (your branding);
- Plan your products and services you want to create;
- Set your achievable goals for the immediate future.
Attending this workshop will help you whether you have a vision of creating your healing practice, desire to expand an existing practice or are looking for ways to revitalize your practice. Linda not only teaches these principles but she uses them in her own business and practice.
